Do you have fast boot enabled in Windows? Every Linux distribution I've tried installs grub or systemd-boot by default, so not having a boot selection screen is odd.
Krita should fit the bill for photopea. Illustrator however is a vector-based program, and I don't know any FOSS android apps for that. In a Linux environment, Inkscape would be the go-to for that.

Pretty sure he argued that Greece shouldn't have to use the bailout loans from other countries to pay back banks, but instead can use it to invest them in public infrastructure to rebuild their economy. Instead the EU forced them to use those loans (said taxes) to pay back rich companies, and to cut their investments in social programs to put the country into an even deeper mess.
If my phone was rooted, I'd use it for firewall, tracker&ad blocking, and backups.
Luckily CalyxOS comes with decent firewall and backup apps built-in, but for trackers I have to run a local "vpn", which is inconvenient
Around here even the most tech illiterate use Whatsapp for messaging. No one™ with a smartphone uses the default messenger app. So I'd say it is more an issue of expectation and motivation, rather than actual ability.
