There are like 5-10 AI posts with lots of votes like this on lemmy per day, so you should have enough training material.
It basically boils down to making the browser do some cpu heavy calculations before allowing access. This is no problem for a single user, but for a bot farm this would increase the amount of compute power they need 100x or more.
The problem is, that by doing that you make it look like this system is valid and not outrageous. YOU might be a good person, but others wont be and from the outside nobody can tell if you treat your slaves well. We do have it in Germany and the local public transport is perfectly good, albeit a bit expensive in some cities, but its the interregional, long distance train network that has massive issues in Germany.
