  • Im not trans or queer in any way, so maybe im not the best person to answer this, but i think the answer is a hard NO. Even if it might be safe now, if shit goes bad, you will want to have as little info as possible out there that could be used to identify you as trans/queer. I would go beyond that and recommend this, imo very insightful, article.

Not windows alone, but i think there is a larger point to be made about recurring costs to governments from licenses, patents, monopolies, unrepairability, etc. Military spending is one that that is heavily affected by all of those and famously the world spends trillions on military, so there should be many billions of dollars that can be saved.

Trump was inevitable specifically because of how flawed the US is and was. The american people has never been interested in participating in democracy, it was always run by frauds and it was just a matter of time until someone figured out how to abuse that situation for something other than the typical shit that corporations have been abusing it for.
