Im still always amazed how they feel the need to mention the Oct 7 attack but not the constant oppression, attacks and killings by the IDF that led to that attack.

It gives you full control over everything required for push notifications. If you self host tge server its perfect ofc, but even if you dont, spreading notification data over hundreds or thousands of push servers makes it much harder for governments to find what they are looking for.

And that is why we use ntfy :)
Not the main instance ofc because then you have one big silo again, but there are plenty of publicly hosted servers.

Thats not how statistics work. If anything you would have to look at frequency of police custody deaths and check if this is an anomaly or a trend.

To be fair, 16 million would only get you a few dozen kilometers of bike lane and only if its the shitty painted on ones. If you wanna build actual height difference protected bike lanes, 16 million is basically nothing.

But also this parade will probably cost upwards of 100 million if you actually included all the invisible secondary costs.
