This post is all about The Thing (1982). Great suspenseful body-horror by John Carpenter. The image at hand is a variation of the title's creature.

I like the simile, but it's a bit dark. Is there an Uncle Jokes community?

The only thing I praise them for is "Fuckin' in the Bushes" because of the movie Snatch.

Entirely fair. Fawkes is a generally great companion/tank/storage unit. The blame falls on the writers' lack of imagination (and appropriate dev time). Not to mention Todd "it just works" Howard.

edit: even if it wasn't under Todd's direction, I'm still generally annoyed with his shenanigans. More so since eventually, I will wind up playing the next TES and Fallout entries. Presumably after a year post release and on a reasonable sale.

Fawkes was so full of shit. This isn't about honor. I literally will not survive the task. YOU might come out of it stronger, let alone unscathed.
