He also had a bizarre contract he made the parents sign that if they changed their minds they had to reimburse him the financial costs of the experiment
Here's a scenario.
Parent gets modded baby
Parent is approached by a corporation to take over the baby for their exp instead
Corporation is willing to pay parent for it
Parent later goes and says no to Dr. He
Parent takes baby to the corporation instead, which now gets to step ahead of Dr. He
Dr. He gets no resultant data but is stuck with the costs of doing whatever he did.
It also doesn't have Sessions.
Making it a better choice when you want to quickly open/create a file (the Session selection menu requires a lot of tabbing or using the mouse)
That's a nice way to use it.
Not for me though, since I prefer audio cues for those things.
I use the RGB on my gaming mouse to help find it in the dark, but that's all. Since it's usually too bright, all 3 RGB values are kept under 10 (out of 255).
As for the keyboard, I am mostly fine with a single colour LED. RGB would be considered a nice to have for seasonally changing colours. I may find different zone based colours useful, but I need to find a good enough keyboard first.
That's what diffs a professional button pusher from an amateur button pusher.
When you know which buttons in which order get you money, you become a professional.
In the example, I was implying a scenario in which Larry sold Larry's stuff, which would have included Larry's phone.
Tom then gives Larry's phone to Steve.
I used 'stuff' in the first sentence to prevent revealing 'phone' beforehand, in which case it could have become, "Tom gave Steve the phone.".
I don't want an extra launcher/downloader thing that keeps on running in the background.
When I want to play the game, I want to only have to start the game itself. That on top of the fact that Linux can have significantly less bloat than Windows, is a big +.
I even experimented with turning off plasma and playing the game directly in X11 without even a WM. Though it turned out not to make a big difference since the DE seems to be light enough to not be a problem.
Even in case of Steam, the only times I want to have to run it is when I am opening the store or updating the games. Not when I just want to play it and definitely not for a Linux native game which does not require Proton nor the runtime.
So, if there are enough people like me, the client would be a wasted effort.
Here's a scenario.
