I had loads of memory cards back when they were actually current technology, so did my friends. I don’t remember anyone ever reporting issues with them other than losing them or accidentally wiping someone else’s save games. I think they’re pretty reliable.

If you just want a sensible headless server chuck Debian on and forget about it.

SotN is one of my top five games but yeah, it is too easy. Don’t forget that when you finish it you’re only half way through.

I can sort of see why it’s not been a priority for them. Outside of the US nobody uses SMS or the built in text apps. I just went through my phone and I haven’t had a text message that wasn’t business related since July.

I don’t want a small phone, I just want a normal phone that I can use in one of my normal sized hands. I have an iPhone 13 Mini right now and it’s pretty ideal but I know they’ll go end of life one day and there’s nothing to replace it right now.

I’d work work 60 hours a week if I was going to get paid the millions they make but I’m not doing that work just to make someone else rich.

I’m no Windows fanboy but I have to use it quite a lot, at home and at work. I don’t know what versions or settings you guys have set up but I’ve never had a Windows update I can’t postpone, ever.

Donald Trump isn’t stupid.

Most people think UNIX and Linux are the same thing so this makes sense. Obviously to us they aren’t but for most people it really doesn’t matter. I’m sure they’ll still sleep at night.

I’m still hoping Trump’s doing some 4D chess thing here where he’s playing good cop while the rest of the world is playing bad cop. I like to think he’s in the phone to Putin like “I know everyone else hates you but I’m your mate, now let’s talk about a deal”. I’m not a fan of his or anything but I don’t think he’s stupid. You don’t get to be the President of the most powerful country in the world if you’re stupid. He may be a total bastard but he’s not stupid.

Won’t happen. Enforcing this would cost way too much.

I feel like there’s a few very proactive users that go around creating these communities , making a few posts, then let them die. Probably just trying to encourage growth beyond the usual nerdy subs and I’m down for it, but it does mean some weird stuff hits the front page occasionally. I saw some sub about sticks on my feed the other day.

None of the things she’s listed equate to actually doing a good job or being productive, it’s all just stuff for putting on a CV.

I read people on Xitter saying that Ukraine should respect that Russia is more powerful than them and they should give Russia whatever they want.

I knew a guy who did this and had to fly to Germany to fix it because he didn’t want to admit what he’d done.
