  • As far as I’m concerned people like this are worse than Osama Bin Laden, so if you were dunking on him dying then why should this be any different? Because what he did was legal? At least Bin Laden had an ideology; he thought he was the goodie, no matter how fucked up that was. This guy profited from people’s death and suffering.

  • I think many people in here need to realise that most people don’t care about their OS, or Copilot or Recall or anything like that. I don’t know what the reason is for this but most people don’t change their OS.

  • I don’t think many people are changing OSs on their laptops, but you may be right about them ditching laptops altogether. 15 years everybody had a computer, now many people just get by with a phone.

  • Can’t really add anything regarding linking the Steam libraries as I just removed all my games from Windows and downloaded them in Linux instead. I used ProtonUp for managing my Proton versions and I started up Cyberpunk using ProtonGE 13, and it runs the same as it does in Windows. I’ve got the GOG version and I’m using Heroic Launcher but I don’t think that’ll make a difference.

Have you got anything to work using that linked library? Maybe try just installing it locally.

  • But this is the classic Linux user mentality; Linux shouldn’t get easier, users should get smarter.

If computers can be easier to use then why should people instead sacrifice loads of time learning how to operate them? Most people have other things to be getting on with.

  • Anything pre-NES era and PlayStation. I had a ZX Spectrum, which was a British console that was around in the 80s. It had lots of fun games which were plentiful and cheap, they’d only be a couple of quid each. But most of them were just really basic versions of what we have now and I have no intention of getting my old machine out to play them.

I’m not nostalgic for the PlayStation because I always felt like the only audiences it catered for were the Japanese and people who liked all that money-grabbing type of stuff, like FIFA. Neither of those were for me.

  • Well most people get a bit like this after they marry. Are you talking about giving up on finding romance? You can still do it when you’re older but everyone’s gonna be divorced with a kid.

You shouldn’t ever really give up on your health, as you get older you’re gonna need it more and more.
