CloudTube is an alternative online front-end for YouTube icon YouTube. CloudTube provides interfaces to display that data, like a video player, search listings, channel views, and subscription management. It can use either NewLeaf or Invidious icon Invidious instance to initially collect that data.

A hosted CloudTube + NewLeaf is available at https://tube.cadence.moe for everyone to try. This project organises the repositories CloudTube and NewLeaf. NewLeaf extracts data from YouTube pages.

  • AdGuardDNS

almost the same as NextDNS feature wise

Limit is also 300k per month. Plus additional device and server limitation.

Added benefit is they send you weekly status mail.

A word of advice, don't leave their dashboard open for too long. The page request thousands of DNS request within minutes (to check for the connectivity status).

  • RethinkDNS AdguardDNS

you can customize the filter list.

NextDNS and Adguard free tier has limitations such as number of devices, max num of request 300k.

If you have chatty clients such as Xiaomi phone, mikrotik router, web pages of their dashboard, 300k is not simply enough.

  • Monaspace AUR-packaged fonts do not registered as monospace font in ArchLinux.

Though Konsole can be configured to use the font, Kitty does not recognize it. Manual install in macOS works for Kitty.

I like Neon and Argon variants of Monaspace.

My favorite was PragmataPro (not free) but it has different glyphs from Nerd Fonts. Similar ones are Iosevka, Victor, Mplus 1 code. Now new favorite is JetbrainsMono NF.

SF code, Fira Code are also in the favorite list.

Lab mono, fragment Mono are nice and planning to try them.

Generally I like condense (but not too condesed) round fonts.

  • Surely a feature request.

This feature will be two scenarios.

    1. lemmy server knows cross-posts and the poster use the cross post functions.
    2. The same or different user use the same content and title to different communities (without using the cross post)
  • My first thought was “buy linux compatible hardwares” - laptop and printer.

According to your reply, paper printing is no longer a big deal.

For the document, I thought Microsoft 365 will do.

Video codecs are available but some distro choose not to include it by default.

Most of the time linux is no go for professionals with locked-in softwares such as Adobe graphics design suite, AutoCAD, etc.
