  • Bordering on pornographic. ;)

I wish I could get a kitty friend for my aging cat, but she freaks out and has a panic attack if she even sees a cat outside the window. I don't want to subject her to the stress of getting used to a new cat :/

  • I saw this Documentary, The Princess Bride, where they went to the Fire Swamps. Was really oversold to me as a kid.

  • Fair enough. Allegory can still be sexual though. Layers.

  • Autocorrupt

  • Starfucker and other songs would be considered quite horny. But it's always more "rage sex" than sexy sex. So I mostly agree. Except when I don't ;)

  • Big Naked. Nine in Nails. Marylin Manson. Our Lady Peace, Alanis Morissette. There's quite a few that could be both. But, alas, this is only a two axis graphic ;)

Also, how to tell I grew up on Canadian radio...

  • Yeah, no kidding one of the most depressing songs ever: https://youtu.be/T69Yk6IccL0 -- The end is the Beginning is the End (Batman and Robin soundtrack)

Also one of the best tracks ever.

  • That's a crazy amount of people under any circumstances. World, take note - this is how you protest.

  • There are a lot of Canadian products that are only "Canadian" products. Even something like Old Dutch chips -- which (when sold in Canada) are made in Canada by Canadian employees using Canadian ingredients... Is a privately held business owned by Americans. These companies are effectively part of the funnel of capitalism -- profits are extracted from Canadians and sent elsewhere.

And yes, I get it, sometimes foreign investment is nice. Canadian companies invest in foreign markets too. But when you're in a trade war with your neighbour, you want to know not just where it is made, but where the money flows.

Even buying Canadian products at Walmart Canada (an somewhat independent Canadian subsidiary of Walmart in the US) still feeds some of the profits on the sale to the US.

Capitalism is a funnel. Too much profit is funnelled south.

  • This is because AI (vis-a-vis LLMs) became a religion to many, rather than a technology.

  • I come home. My cat mowls at me. I say: "oh, that's terrible. Tell me all about it."

  • It's going to be much much worse than just "hard to get a visa" -- this shitball is rolling downhill and anyone brown should be considering another country.

    First they came for...

  • Go poke your head into r/mensrights or similar. Basically everyone complaining that the show is going to get them cancelled or that the show misrepresented them or similar. It's pretty rare to see any comments suggesting the show is provoking introspection. Instead it is defend and attack.

  • Not all of them. I know a few that genuinely believe this would be a good thing. They're mostly far right conservatives though, who wish they could immigrate to Texas or whatever, but can't because the US does not actually want them. So to them, it feels like a backdoor option. Full on trumpets.

  • Just drove past a US consulate. Probably 200 people outside waving signs around in protest against US imperialist behaviour. Seems very grassroots. How much do you wanna bet these people are the seeds of future resistance...

  • Did they even watch it?

The free speech absolutists are going to cause something far far worse than what is portrayed. But maybe that is the goal.
