I'm in the UK and last year it got so hot and humid here, and on the whole our homes do not deal well with heat. Definitely know where you're coming from! I hope you both feel better once it cools down! 🐕

I think people say it's got a bit of an old school feeling to it more because it feels a little bit lawless, and new, and experimental - a wild-west with a user base still finding its feet and expanding and figuring out what this place is and what communities will form.

I've been kicking around the internet since the 90s so it's quite a nice feeling, although not quite the same!

Absolutely! I think it will be good to keep an eye how users, communities and the mods and admins of different instances respond - because where the line is drawn or isn't, or when people stay silent on important issues happening on their servers or in their communities can speak volumes. (I'm not saying I have seen anything like this yet, not implying anything - just interested to see how things will unfold over time and hopeful for the future!)
