  • While I don't think Biden should have run for a second term, that's not the scenario we live in. He is running, no viable Dems ran against him in the primaries. He will be their nomination. Anything else is almost Fantasyland.

    Now what ya gonna do?

  • It's often a fact "both sides" don't enjoy, but it's still a fact.

Trump was super ineffective in implementing his horrible rhetoric. It took Obama a term, and some judgements and a settlement against what his administration was up to, to start treating people more like people. And Biden has been "business as usual" as he's dealt with the influx of humans after COVID restrictions were lifted.

  • "Trump era border policies" that stopped people from seeking asylum inside the USA were based off emergency response to COVID-19. As that shifted from pandemic to endemic, the USA stopped its emergency response. So yeah, those asylum restrictions also stopped. Duh. Or do you think the federal government should continue using emergency powers to address COVID?

  • When it comes to that spectacle, it was all lose. Trump couldn't answer most questions and just blah blah blahed lies with little policy and zero plan for anything. Biden did a good job showing why there should have been an actual primary season for the Democrats, but he did at least try to answer and corrected a couple of his gaffs(Biden gaffs aren't new, but man.... Dude is worn)

Everyone lost. This guy is correct, it's mind boggling there wasn't a week of headlines of Trump's attack on democracy
