I was originally just against censorship. I turned to DDG instead of Google because I wanted more open and free search results. That's where it all started.

Guess V for Vendetta will come true as the U.K. has fallen to Fascism.

So it's just like mini routers just dedicated to internet, with better quality and reliability, that connect to the main router when it's near, but give you a stronger signal?

Yes it should although you may not get notifications of emails. I'd use ProtonMail or Tutanota instead anyway.

It works but the main issue is that full screen crashes the app. It never used to, but now it does so I use Clipious for my Android TV.

Brave is alright for normies and maybe as a secondary browser.

I'd try a SearX instance or SearX.be and use FireFox or Librewolf as a browser, at least as a primary way to look things up.

I'd just use a FOSS SMS app like Simple Messenger from F-Droid or if you have GrapheneOS or CalyxOS, use their default messengers.

I use Vanadium and sometimes DDG or Tor. Mulls a good, hardcore browser as well.

And for vanadium, I use an ad blocking DNS, which is https://dns.adguard.com/dns-query

I always wondered if I could install a private OS on a smart TV but never found one.

I like Android TVs because I can install f-droid apps on them. Like Cloudstream. I tried to debloat my TV by connecting my laptop to it and running the adb command to remove any bad apps I noticed, but even that's not perfect.

I wanna become an android developer someday and I might look into developing privacy apps focused on Android TVs.

Edit: I removed google play and it's services, so spyware shouldn't be getting updates on my TV and I got it a few years ago now, I think it's ok for privacy right now.

Journalism is so paid off at this point that it's became normal to see. We need to support independent journalists or do our own research.

Maybe have them pull out the router at the dealership. I think they have to listen to your request. They may argue with you about it and be like "yeah but you won't have internet and all this cool stuff" but yeah whatever people have phones nowadays anyway.

I'd like to have my own house built, not just a wooden cabin. Run off of well water for water, and solar panels for electricity. I know that with the way that Modern Industrial Society is, I'd have to buy the land, couldn't just off grid it.

I actually want to become an android developer within this society. I'm aware that my career wouldn't define me at all, and I don't really care about titles. I get to work remotely which makes being in the country easier, and would make decent money to buy the land and equipment needed, and maybe get some degree of help.
