  • Please don't use Brave.

Just keep in mind, Brave is run by a for profit company, and privacy is only profitable if your customers are paying for that privacy. The fact that Brave is free for users means that their stated goals are antithetical to their business interests. You cannot trust Brave to respect your privacy.

  • Can someone provide context for this?

  • Did you use a light box for the photo?

  • The movie is terrible. It's the music that kept me going back to it, and the callbacks

  • They've probably played the holo-novel adaptation of Star Wars

  • I don't know what's worse, that you're spamming this shit everywhere, or that you're obviously doing it by hand.

  • It's not a fine, it's just a cost of doing business.

The only way to make them stop is to hurt their profits, but our corptocracy is too spineless to levy proper fines against businesses.

  • Same here. I was alone on the 405 by LAX. It was surreal.

  • Maybe they're confused by methylphenidate acting as a dopamine reuptake inhibitor, and getting that mixed up with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors?

Maybe they're mixing up methylphenidate with Wellbutrin, which are commonly prescribed together. Wellbutrin is also prescribed alone to treat ADHD, and it is an antidepressant.

  • After being on stimulants for almost 30 years to treat my ADHD, I've tried every variation you can think of. I appreciate the suggestion though.

  • I just try my best to function without meds on the daily, and save the meds for times when my focus is most needed. It's truly terrible. But, as much as stimulants help, they are really a bandaid, and will always end up in this cycle you're experiencing.

Short of behavioral therapy, and/or switching away from stimulants, there's not much more your doctor can do. Stimulants are hell on your heart, and increasing your dose would greatly increase the risk of heart issues, including sudden death.

Our society wasn't built with people like us in mind, and no amount of chemical therapy will change that.

  • Many actions on modern phones use AI. Text to speech and image processing just to name two. I am very excited to not have that information being constantly sent to the cloud for processing.

  • With the proliferation of game subscriptions, I can understand the thought process behind unity wanting to figure out how to charge devs using a metric that wasn't tied to game purchases. They are still bastard coated bastards with bastard filling, just maybe not so crazy
