  • You have to prioritize. The cast iron pans are one of the only things that can wait because you never really have to clean them spotless anyways.

    That being said, I can always use an oven mitt and my cast irons are so long seasoned that I could leave them overnight in the sink w/o a problem other than a little surface rusting on the bottom.

  • Mine isn't usually spotless because when it's time to eat it's time to eat, but I always clean as I go. Everything I do in the kitchen starts with a piping hot sink of soapy water.

  • I don't think anyone has the answers right now, especially considering that this administration is willing to ignore the orders of the SCOTUS.

    I'd advise against asking an ICE agent, they might actually come up with something.

  • This is not the first time that the Executive branch has ignored Supreme Court orders. See Worcester v. Georgia and the dispute between Chief Justice Roger Taney and General Cadwalader.

    The problem is that the Executive branch is (theoretically) supposed to uphold the decisions of the Judicial branch, but irl, enforcement of those decisions is easier said than done when the Executive branch disagrees.
