I've never been so proud of a title!

It's great that you got it working; hopefully it serves you well. I've primarily used it to mark people who aren't worth an argument to me ("argues in bad faith") and people with whom it's extra worth engaging ("seems clever, " "shares a fandom," in a few rare cases just their first name to make it stand out if it's a friend but I didn't notice the username).

Tbh I've only got, like ... Five user notes.

I don't know where this building is located, but in the USA, "ground floor" and "first floor" are oft used interchangeably to mean what I'm guessing you would call the ground floor.

How depends on how you access Lemmy. In my client, Connect, I expand a comment, tap the three dots to the right of it, and click "add user note."

I don't know that I have one now, but when I was a kid I liked "minimizing" because it was a pleasant pattern to type.

Ah, I'm no bartender but every cocktail kit I've had has referred to them interchangeably. I was thinking of the spoon style but ironically ran out of metaphorical spoons while trying to find a good example. Thanks.

Apparently there's a collector's club for these, but none of them displayed in photos were the twisted kind, so I didn't link there.

I used to have a watch configured with the most common codes and equipped with an IR blaster. That seems a rather more manageable approach.

Only two adults live in my house. I ended up buying one remote for each seat in the living room (which is rather more than two) and my wife still manages to lose them.

I ended up getting one more to keep next to my chair to lend her. I just make sure to get it back when her original is recovered.

It's actually gotten less common now because our kid is pretty good at finding them.

(If I sound resentful, I'm not. I love my wife. It just amazes me how that situation played out.)
