You didn't miss anything, everybody is giving them a pass because they have an old mainframe and until you've had to sync one you just don't know. We all know the reason the government is still using mainframes from the 70s. You mean to tell me there's no company that's ever migrated away from a mainframe? It's always a budget issue. And in the US anything that isn't military spending is a budget issue.

Probably switch to LineageOS like I did on all my Nexus phones.

I mean they clearly got the point that the assignment was all about three digit numbers.

I've had trouble getting AI to understand the concept of a mid rise or medium density city. Like no matter how you describe the city, it's always a densely populated wasteland which worries me about the way AI perceives what cities are and why we have them.

Exactly we're here and doing all this work on our own dime so we can have a social media site that won't turn out like every corporate social media site ever. It's already working the way we want it to without any help from Facebook, so logically giving them a seat at the table can only not help.

Exactly, it was kind of a facetious comment, but it is kind of sad there's mods that feel a sense of obligation to run a corporate social media site and that the reddit leadership is banking on the social currency of being a mod keeping any sort of value.

That's what I don't get either, at this point I don't see how anyone would willingly spend their time modding on reddit, so there they must be doing it against their will!
