the HR drone could've probably explained it better, but it's possible for the background blur effect to distort a close up img on camera of a document, such as for I9. I recently went through a verification of my documents and had to do the same thing, except I made the call to unblur and immediately my docs were verifiable via camera.
Likely policy is to ask for blur effects to be disabled to remove the possibility of interference in be able to actually see/verify docs.
Why not split the difference and do both. Hdd for storage and SSD for services/containers. To help with the power load/performance hit I'd recommend using a usb to sata adapter that has external power. Overall though it sounds like a micro optipl x would be great for you. They're cheap, more powerful, but still sip power, and usually can fit nvme and 2.5" drives together.
We’re definitely smaller than the Reddit gunpla sub, but I’m really enjoying the gunpla community on lemmy. Everyone’s chummy and welcoming. I’d love to see any you’ve built!
Maaaaaaan I’ve wanted to try Asahi since its development took shape. I know I’m probably not that far off with my PBP running Fedora, but it’s just not the same…
Is the Hba in a traditional server case with lots of airflow? My 9207-8i displayed a similar issue bc it didn’t have enough direct cooling (it’s not in a traditional server/case.) it would never show more than 2 drives at a time and they would often vanish. Once I mounted a fan to it, the Hba has been stable and showing every drive I attach
Apple opened up windows support drastically a while back. I've also never had iTunes (now Music) care about the source of an mp3. Everytime I imported mp3s of my old CDs, it did it with no fuss about where I got them. So even if you need to use the app to transfer, where you got the files won't be questioned by the software/apple.
I looked these up too after seeing them mentioned in an interview. Definitely vaporware. Reviews are not good. It’s very limited in its capabilities vs an actual laptop, build quality is meh at best, and the glasses are not very accommodating to the wearer.
If you hold command you can click on an icon and drag it out to remove it or drag it left or right to reorganize the menu bar icons. Baked in, no extra app needed
I remember running a 3rd party shell in windows 2000. It worked most of the time and had some cool widgets. When it crashed explorer would take its place.
potato bread/buns are great! Try it if you ever get a chance
