  • Changling Warlock. Get ready for some shenanigans!

  • Unless your furnace isn't vented, it's fine. The ventless gas fireplace though would be just as bad as a gas stove, if not worse because as the name implies it's not vented.

  • Wait I totally misread your comment. I thought you said furnace. Your gas fireplace sounds like it's of the ventless variety which I just read up on now. I don't think these are even permitted for use where I live. You're right to be cautious with it.

  • Your furnace should be vented directly to the outside like your fireplace. Gas stoves only require the vent hood, which does some good work on venting the room, but the user is still exposed to those output gases before they can be vented. That also assumes the user even uses the vent hood. Pretty wild when you think about it.

  • Same, cut my monthly housing cost by almost $1000 two years ago. So many good things have happened as a result as well, because it was a move between regions and opened up alternative employment options not previously available. As a result I also doubled my income.

  • I work at an active mine, I think it would be more than a week off though if any part of me gets crushed by a 2 ton rock. Gonna need some milk after that..

  • My person, arms and legs are both appendages. But now that you mention it.. is a trail an appendage?

  • There's the magic of not giving a shit after. But good point, it's entirely possible to do this to some extent as an anonymous benefactor. And at $20mil annually guaranteed income I could always hire someone to do it for me.

Also, I'd be buying remote wilderness and building a self sustaining off grid homestead and not telling most people how to find me. I don't like visitors.

  • All mine and my family debts paid. Immediate and extended. Friends too. Then a life of leisure followed by paying the debts of the strangers I meet along the way.

  • I wish our cabinets looked like this.. we're supposed to be getting a retractable patch panel soon for a pilot. Hopefully it doesn't suck.

  • Not gonna lie, having a therapy Worf would probably do everyone a little good.

  • The weirder thing is I was replacing a users desktop the other day and updating default apps. Edge did its usual "pleas love me" bit but then so did Windows Mail as I was changing it to Outlook 365 of all things..

  • The town I live in has 2 Tims, 1 McDonald's, and no cafes. I never considered how deeply it would eventually hurt leaving a place with quality cafes and restaurants for a place without. At this point we're considering on just moving to an unorganized township because there's no point in paying the higher property taxes (there's a long list of complaints to go with that nugget).

  • We're not weird, anyone who likes cold or reheated fries is weird.

However, you're in the same camp as the guy who likes to dip his fries and burger into a chocolate milkshake. Chicken nuggets/tenders, too. I think it's a sweet n savoury thing.
