  • Baritone guitars are very nice and a good bit of fun. At first I thought it was odd they weren't more embraced by the metal community, but I guess that's because they just went straight to seven strings.

  • Sorry, I meant in the state of Victoria. And you're right, the classic line I hear about those sorts of people is "What no class analysis does to an MF".

And they have to lander their image through somewhere. God knows they can't present normal themselves.

  • This cheap Dell keyboard at work is killing me. It's so unresponsive and at times you'll type a double letter and it won't register one. I think I need mechanical switches because this rubber membrane just isn't good enough.

  • I live in Mernda near Donnybrook and Kalkalo and I hate it. It's why I ride my bike as much as I can and I want to get a cargo bike to take the kids around.

I'm so lucky I found a job over in Epping so I don't have a long commute. I can leave by 7 and be home by 4:30. I've been meaning to talk to my manager about just taking a half hour lunch break so I could be home by 4 even.

  • I feel like the Liberals can seem authentic talking about a lack of urban planning because Labour has been in power for ten years. But I don't know how you could be convinced they'd be any better.

I wonder if they're trialling funding people to go do extremely locallised video essays on sympathetic subjects? That's what this guy's channel seems to be all about.

  • I'm helping a woman at the retirement village and I thought I'd ask here first:

Are there apps that can boost audio during calls? Just through the phone and not just putting the phone on speaker.

This woman was a hearing aid, it uses bluetooth but apparently the app only works on IOS. I'll look into this and confirm if that's the case or not.

This means she can't really use headphones because she already has things in her ears, and she doesn't want to put her phone on speaker all the time.

Has anyone used anything that works and is decent? I'll look into her hearing aid brand and see what options there are as well.
