It's the fun world of tinkering with Linux. It actually makes computers interesting again, I'm always on the lookout for old gear to put it on and playing with different versions now.
It does have a graphics card, and I want to check it out somewhere. I've got a gaming PC with w10 at the moment too, so this will be a good test run before I decide on a setup for the rig
That's what the IT guy at work said. It feels odd given Dells are work computers mostly. There seems to be a GNU bash issue both times I've flashed it onto the thumb drive so I'm not sure if it's the laptop or the media at this point.
I've taken the old work laptop home and I thought I'd try Bazzite on it. Apparently Fedora based distros don't play well with Dell so if I still can't get it to work I might try PopOS instead. Failing that, Mint Debian edition.
I've been playing around with work's Marketing automation and it is so nice to use. So much better than Marketing Cloud. I can't wait to get in there properly.
I may be able to convince the head office team to switch the CMS to drupal too. That combination would be dream working conditions for me, it would be crazy smooth workflow
That's incredibly lucky. I love it when you accidentally get free things in the mail like that. I bought a digital radio for my mum once and got a free keyboard out of it because Dick Smith put the same tracking number on it, absolutely no way for them to trace it
I was more involved with them last election, I ended up being booth captain at one of the sites. Everything was pretty chill and they all seemed good. I've only dropped off because I had the boys.
I didn't know he did porkbarrelling in his own seat. I know it's what has kept Barnaby Joyce in all this time. It's the acknowledgement that you operate on a national stage but you're voted in by your seat. I wish more politicians would take that on board, even if it's for selfish reasons.
I don't know if it's still the case but you used to be able to redeem partial bills in Australia. Who knows, a bank might give you $6 for it.
