  • Poor Ukraine. One side wants to kill them all and steal the land, another side wants to rape its land, not to mention bordering Belarus, Slovakia and Hungary who are the bitches of Putin. We live in a sad reality

  • I met him on an aircraft a couple of months ago. He seemed so scared to be recognized. I said nothing to respect other passengers and the flight attendants but I'd have loved to have called him a nazi. Btw the flight was headed to Dubai.

Edit: I recognized him because he asked the flight attendants how to connect to the internet (you simply connect to the WiFi and you're done??). His brain is cooked

  • Oh but they believe it's the LGBTQ community that is destroying the democracy, not a fascist dictator and his billionaire cocksuckers

  • It's incredible because

    • Ukraine ceded their nuclear weapons in exchange for security by the US and other allies
    • Ukraine is already the best deal for the US to destroy an historical enemy currently hungry for other people's lands

    But Trump wants even more.

  • Am I the only one who feels it's impossible to stop these people with voting and information campaigns? I feel the urge to make Nazis afraid again.

  • But people are used to one and only Twitter. If we create one billion different brands for the same Mastodon instances nobody is gonna hop on them cause they will understand even less than what they understand now about Mastodon and the fediverse

  • I like consistent branding because non-technical people get confused when they have one billion different names for everything when you could just say "join a Mastodon instance"

  • I solved the issue by de-selecting everything

  • Guns are not exclusive to Nazis 😉

  • Italy is a fairly a new country (it was born in 1861) and before that each part used to speak a different language which, just like Neapolitan, they are still alive. These languages and dialects are not taught in school so the only way to learn them is by listening to those who passed it on which I think it's pretty cool.

In my day-to-day life I speak a mix of Italian and Neapolitan (but there are people who speak only the latter) but we try to use only the former when we speak to people from other parts of the country who wouldn't be able to understand us. Nowadays our local language is getting "italianized" a bit but it's still different from it, just like Spanish and Italian or other Romance languages.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to let Lemmers know about it :)

  • I am an Italian teacher for war refugees and I got several people from the occupied territories. You know what? They speak Russian but they hate Russia with a passion, tried to switch to Ukrainian as much as possible and rallied for Ukraine.

  • That's true! I love less common languages. Well I can speak Neapolitan, a language spoken in Southern Italy.

  • Italy: Italian, English and a local language

  • Let's repeat it again kids. Elon Musk is a piece of shit

  • Please read my comment to the OP of the thread, I resolved the issue

  • Okay I figured out what the problem was. In the language settings there's written "if you DESELECT the "undetermined" language you won't be able to see the majority of the content", so I selected it, and that's when problems started to happen, so I deselected it and now I can see everything. Not sure why there's written that.

  • Yeah I think it's more or less the same.
