Almost the same way I used to use Twitter innthe early days:

1. Find a client that I’m comfortable with (IceCubes for me)
2. follow people that post interesting stuff
3. engage in conversations

Works really well for me and even though I only have half the amount of followers I had on Twitter, I have more high quality conversations and less trolls.

I run a Proxmox cluster with 2x Dreamquest pro, each with 2x10TB had in an IcyBox, plus an external Raspberry Pie with a 12 TB disk for backup.

The disks are refurbished to keep the costs down but run in a mirror setup. So if one fails, I’m fine. I use an old laptop as a 3rd node and the main nodes replicate their load, so I‘m fine even when one node is dead.

The climate goals are meetable.

If we want to.

Unless AI forces us to do stuff that we know for decades to be necessary, nothing will change, except a massive amount of additional energy that we need to power the AI.

I would not use „Amerika“ if I would refer to the US. I usually mean the geographical combination of North and South America if I would use the term.

If I want to reference the US, I would use „die USA“, „die Vereinigten Staaten“ or in short just „die Staaten“.

A sad and at the same time inspiring story. It gives me hope that even people close to the toxic environment of Trump are able to make informed, reasonable decisions and are not blindly falling for this con man.

Let’s hope that this will be enough to deny Trump a second term.

Meh, that just killed my interest in the project. I was really looking forward to their first release. Now I don’t care anymore.

I only see Apple TV+ as a bonus to the Premium subscription. But if they really fuck it up like this, I will unbundle my subscription and cancel Apple TV+.
