Am I little naive in wondering how this isn't caught in unit, integration and E2E tests?

Edit: looks more involved than that, but it forced me to dig into how some of the components are tested. Educational.

They should face huge fines for this kind of waste. $25M USD for each computer arbitrarily obsolete.

Drugs should all be legalized at the federal level, but I think the damage is already done. There is a defacto narco state from the US southern border to the southern tip of South America and it's largely been created out of US social policy. Now that "state" has actual state levels of funding, and in some cases weaponry, and it isn't a physical state so you can't exactly just go bomb it out of existence.

Americans don't have the wherewithal to address addiction as a health crisis. Just take a look outside in any American city and you'll see what I'm talking about. Addiction, poverty - half the country thinks we can just free market our way out of this, some part thinks we can just make all drugs illegal and the problem goes away. We're doomed.

It's a shame about their monopoly on gun range insurance. It would be nice if a non evil organization took their place.

Yeah, that's the thing. What is the strategy? Petty retribution on Biden for ... existing policy that isn't going to change with the Congress we have, and would whiplash when a Republican gets elected again?

Just checked my own sshd configs and I don't use CBC in them. I've based the kex/cipher/Mac configs off of cipherlist.eu and the mozilla docs current standards. Guess it pays to never use default configs for sshd if it's ever exposed to the Internet.

Edit: I read it wrong. It's chacha20 OR CBC. I rely heavily on the former with none of the latter.

Are you really arguing the existence and use of terminology like full size (or power) and intermediate cartridge? Do you have a problem with "Magnum" as well?
