Hold up a minute, you are putting words in my mouth. I'm not even making any claims in my comment about how many Stalin killed or that he acted alone. Only the historically accurate fact that he is responsible for a significant amount of death and suffering, and that statistically it is impossible that everyone persecuted by the (Stalin lead) soviet government was innocent. You can argue numbers and western perception all you want but it is a historical fact that Stalin had the blood of innocent people on his hands, as many world leaders throughout history have had (including most if not all us presidents). Even if your claims are true it still doesn't invalidate my point.
It's not a double standard though. Killing one person who was objectively profiting off of the lives and suffering of millions of people is very different than killing/imprisoning anyone who disagrees with you.
Yea I did the same thing as you about 2 years ago. Gonna maintain and use this phone for as long as I possibly can before either betting another one or find a equally good or better solution that doesn't give money to google(and hopefully one with a replaceable battery)
Yes that is true, so ask yourself why they would make such announcements after they know it won't change anything. Best case scenario they are trying to save face for when the tarrifs drive up prices. Worst (and IMO most likely) case is that they use it as an excuse to further increase their profit margins, much like they and other stores did when there was an increase in inflation.
I'm not saying no one was warning us against tarrifs, just pointing out that Walmart specifically waited until after trump was elected (apparently twice now) to announce their warning about tarrifs.
The fact that they're sending this message now means they will use this as an excuse go raise the prices even higher than nessesary to increase their profit margin. If they really cared about consumers then they should have been yelling from the treetops BEFORE the election.
My question may have been rhetorical, but not disingenuous. I firmly and honestly believe people should have access to information to help them make choices. If you care about objectivity then you should provide some hard evidence to prove your point instead of just telling people they are wrong. Feel fee to try proving what kind of "agenda" I could have by beleiving in free access to information while you're at it.
Yes people have the right to make shitty decisions. I'm sure you wouldn't disagree that people should also have the right to know how their decisions affect them so they can avoid making shitty decisions if they so choose, right?
Unless it plays Xbox AND PC games I'm not even the slightest bit interested. Even then I'd still probably prefer the steam deck or whatever iteration of it exists in however many years.
All that proves is that voter turnout was lower this election, and historically republicans have an advantage when that happens, and would you look at that a Republican won. Go figure.
Yea looking at the picture its definitely already been processed by a video switcher and who knows what else and probably has the right aspect ratio in the broadcast production truck, you can tell because the graphics are squished in the same way as the video. That means its either the truck engineer or master control accidentally squishing it after the fact somehow.
