  • I'm so glad my work works on the basis of as long as you do your 8 hours a day, come in when you like (to a point as unfortunately it isn't a 24 hour business. So when I wake up at 4 I just go to work knowing that I'll get there at half 4 meaning I finish at half 12 and have the whole afternoon to do things I actually want to do!

  • Nah I've never had issues with latency and don't play anything competitive I've always just prefered wired to be honest. My favourite controllers were the wired 360 controllers that got rid of the massive bump at the back and were a really nice weight. I wish they did an official modern wired only version.

  • Yeh it was the text that was throwing me. I've customised my own controllers with different coloured buttons etc before so that part was easily explainable but the text is professionally added and I never knew that was a thing people did (seems like a waste of money to me)

Turns out it is a design labs custom one as per the other responses though. Learn something new every day!

  • Cheers man for the reply. Yeh it seems like this is the case I just didn't know that it was a thing.

I've bought coloured buttons and modded my own controllers before but it was the text on the bottom that was throwing me as it has been professionally added! I didn't know that design lab was a thing :)

  • I was always a huge knuckles fan so couldn't wait for this release and actually being able to play as him, got it just after release for Christmas!

The bonus of playing him in the older games with the special cart was even better, gliding across chemical zone like it was nothing! The practice for the special stages using sonic 1 was great too!

Best character in that universe hands down for me!

  • Wow, someone else that actually feels the way I do about these things, particularly the eating part. The whole process of preparing, cooking and eating food feels like such a waste of time to me, I wish I could just take a pill or supplement that actually gave me everything I needed as if I were eating a healthy balanced diet and then maybe eat one meal a week for the actual taste of food.

  • I don't know if I am the best person to ask as I am not really a "power user" or anything. It sends and receives emails and isnt google which is all I really need, I can't really talk about any features it may or may not have that people might look for.

I like that I can make up to 10 different address from within that same account, send emails from any of those accounts from just a drop down box without logging in and out of different accounts.

I like that they give me credit to my account based in how much space I actually use in my inbox.

I recently upgraded to an "ultimate" type account which covers all their products for me and my gf to try and encourage her to move away from google. The way the drive works is a bit counter intuitive in my opinion and the password manager thing seems to work well across both windows and android but I've never used a password manager programme before so it could be dogshit in comparison to others, but it seems to work well for me.

Never tried the VPN as I pay for AirVPN.

Sorry, not very insightful for you in terms or details but I like it a lot and it all works well for me, I've never had issues with any of the apps or logging in and accessing my stuff. The primary thing for me was moving away from google.

  • I joined gmail in beta so similarly had had my address for an absurd amount of years.

Last year I completely switched over to proton for everything and keep my gmail as a junk account for shit I want to sign up for but don't want to dirty my main with.

It was a daunting feeling undertaking at first but honestly it took me a couple of hours to go through and change the email on things I actually use and want to keep.

It was a nice freeing feeling and really helped me weed out what accounts I truly use and want to keep. I would highly recommend it as a cleansing exercise as much as anything else!
