  • ...besides Sanders who has no power, the green party which has no nonlocal power, and the various even smaller third parties which have even less power, there's no one people union to talk to.

Eventually you will need to wrestle with the basic fact that as a union leader or member, you're an enemy of the state and will always be trying to convince anti union people to support you. That's the point of a union in the first place. If Dems had any chance to be in power, union heads would be cozying up to them.

Strikes suck for everyone, what happens when the strike fails sucks even more regardless of if you pick violence or not, avoiding that is ideal, even if it means talking to people some randos on the internet find distasteful.

  • In a binary system, when one choice has abandoned all facade of supporting the largest union in the country ... What do you suppose they do?

Trump is a simple creature, his last admin proved you can get downright progressive results by kissing his ass in a way that generates good publicity or profits. As a reminder Trump pardoned more nonviolent black prisoners than Biden has, because a set of rappers recognized his game and played it. Hell there's a good chance Republicans are going to be the ones to legalize marijuana, not reschedule it, legalize it because they recognize how frustrated people are with Dems and it's an easy, cheap, and ideologically consistent win.

  • It's shooting yourself in the foot to stop foot cancer that was metastasized from hand cancer, to correct your metaphor. And the actual alternative is to start doing some Luigi's Special towards every CEO and politician.

We're not there yet, so voting third party, even pointlessly, is the only effective action left.

  • When strike breaker Harris abandoned the working class, what did you expect, exactly? Workers aren't beholden to party, and since you people will never vote third party, sometimes you have to go with the generic neoliberal instead of the one with marketable aesthetics.

  • The private luxury real estate market crashed, the only people hurt by this are foreign investors and people dumb enough to copy us strategies to build wealth instead of doing something of value with their lives. No one was made homeless.

Your second paragraph only affects the private sector, and thats generally true of all private economies right now; China just doesn't allow their private economy to effect the needs of the people.

Your third is mostly nonsense as no long term strategies have changed in the last few years except far more talks on whether real estate should be privatized in any way or if the private side of that industry has outlived it's usefulness; and of course an acceleration of space goals due to the potential for the EU and musk to take all useful leo orbits.

  • Ah yes, it must be... Russian propaganda that China uses business deals instead of raping, enslaving, and colonizing like the West did... And you're claiming this under a story where the oppressed populations just keep telling the former colonizers to get the fuck out or die; not a story of them kicking out China.

  • China is socialist. Socialist countries can have market economies and even capitalist economies, as long as the dictatorship of the proletariat ultimately controls all of the economy. Just a reminder China's killed multiple billionaires.
