    I think it's quite reasonable to ask for a source to such a sweeping statement. The fact you can't provide any evidence shows it's just your opinion.

    Considering the fact that they've been charged with these crimes is why their passports have been seezed is relevant to what's being reported. So ommiting any mention of that from the headline a choice.
