Wait, you actually finish games before starting new ones? How do I learn this skill?

My wife and daughter use LibreOffice, neither one feels they are part of a community because they’re using FOSS. That’s not how this works.

People use a tool or piece of software because it does what they need and generally stays out of their way. They’re not going to jump ship to be part of a community because. Sure there are people that enjoy working on it, and there’s people who will donate money to make the software better, but you’re not going to convince people to choose FOSS for “the community”. You’re going to convince them by offering a better tool, at a better price without negatively impacting their workflow. That extends to all FOSS just as it extends to normal software and services.

Are there any other networks we don’t know about called Matrix we can clear out?

For most non-tech savvy people, the OS is part of the computer. It comes with win 10, that’s just the way the computer works and it will stay with 10 until the hardware fails or is too slow and they need a new PC. They’re not separate. And if a PC costs more, they’re just going to deal with it longer or give up on a desktop/laptop and do more on their phones.

I always figure we ask kids what they want to be when they grow up because they have better imagination and we adults are looking for ideas.

So you want people to report others accounts as being under age? There’s absolutely zero way that could go wrong or has ever gone wrong in history.

HFW has a mode where the HUD doesn’t show you any of the things you need to find… like rocks, bushes, parts, etc. it’s more immersive and I beat the game with that mode on without too much trouble. Watching my wife play with the normal HUD showed me I probably missed a few things here and there but nothing crazy. I was always able to find enough healing and rocks and I got all the collectibles (I 100%’d it, I just didn’t go back and NG+ on Ultra Hard like she did)

I remapped my CapsLock key to Escape. The only time I ever hit CapsLock was a mistake, so this works out a lot better… and yes, I’m a Vim user so having that Escape close by saves my pinky.

I daily DDG and either go to Kagi or, oddly enough, Bing if that doesn’t work. Google is too riddled with ads at this point.

I purposely don’t do the printer PS powers the octopi thing… I like to be able to drop some gcode on it for later or do updates when the printer isn’t on.
