Well, that precludes being a loyalist, doesn’t it? So clearly not the group to which I was referring. No need to be reductive as I’m not claiming a binary worldview.
There are very few people I feel are on the right side of all this. She is not the enemy. There are no magic bullets. Short of having a majority of elected officials like her, there is only one solution and we all know and fear what it is.
That may be, but it still feels unrelated to the crash. PAT25 requested and received visual separation. The controller even doubled checked by asking if they had the CRJ. That is normal in the airspace from the control side, unless I’m missing something.
I’m not confident in the altitudes yet. Maybe you have better data, but everything I’ve seen indicating those values is based on GPS, which is not always very accurate. I suspect we’ll know more soon but I don’t know that we’ll ever have the full story about if PAT25 had the wrong CRJ visual or what.
I actually have no problem with dams being controlled as federal resources by the Army Corps or Engineers. Rarely does a waterway or its water table effects start and end in one state. My problem is that we have evil dipshits at the helm.
I think it is common to distinguish between whispering something and saying it out loud or aloud. Like if you say something private in a theatre louder than meant, your date might say, “Shh, you said that out loud.” Otherwise “out loud” would have no place at all as “say” alone would cover this meaning.
You’re right about the saying, but I think that explains the malapropism.
If you think you know exactly how all installations, including National Guard Installations, would operate in a situation of this magnitude, I envy your blind certitude.
That’s definitely possible. I’m not saying it would be a good thing. The only thing I feel confident about is that we do not know. A lot isn’t as it once seemed right now. Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!
They’d become a pretty large country with one of the world’s largest economies holding major port access to their neighbor. A few allies and things aren’t quite so clear cut. Not to mention they’d potentially have significant military resources.
My iteration cycles programming are much faster. It can simply generate code faster than me, and it isn’t even close. Then I just have to evaluate and verify before starting the next OODA loop. I’ve been in this business for a long time and these language models have improved my speed. They also distill things that seem complex sometimes because I can’t break a mindset.
I consider myself a bit of a Luddite but there is no denying how they help me, all the negatives they bring along be damned. I’d love for most technology to wink out of existence, but I won’t deny its utility.
