  • Not quite I guess, that wafer is what's needed for chip making but from reading the paper it looks like they were just trying to figure out how to make the band gap of the graphene just the right size. It says their next step is trying to adapt silicon chip making techniques to this new material. Terracing I guess to start?

  • Yeah, it shouldn't need anything more than USB power, it's just another node in the mesh at that point. If you don't have one of those USB outlets just use a phone brick, that should be enough.

EDIT: See THIS for more info. While that's obviously written for Z2M some of it applies to other coordinators.

  • I fell off the webcomic train after Google reader died but girl genius is still going! I just checked lol. Schlock mercenary ended in 2020, I think OOTS is also active.

  • Using Z2M doesn't really sound like it'd be ideal for your use case. For most people (myself included) it's to seperate your zigbee network from home assistant so if HASS goes down you don't lose control of your lights too.

  • You can put a coordinator in relay mode and use that, the antenna would help with the range. Get one of those outlets with USB and a right-angle cable and it'll be nice and low profile too.

  • The Universal blue project checks some of these boxes I think. It's a toolset for rolling your own immutable images based distros like Fedora Silverblue and Bazzite.

  • Yeesh lol. Also It looks like the software offering is better with the bangle than it is with the PineTime.

  • Yeah I'm rolling with the GTS2 myself, I was thinking about the PineTime but I haven't seen the new bangle! Might have to get one of those.

  • Damn straight! I miss pebble. :(

  • Spin up a VM, load the game on that.

  • Have you heard about Matter casting? That's what I'm waiting for.

  • I agree with you, but the logic (if you could call it that at this point) is that long guns are for hunting whereas pistols are much more concealable. Of course they didn't feel the need to specify a difference between hunting rifles and 30-round semiauto so... Yeah. Murica I guess.

  • My girlfriend was watching Grey's Anatomy next to me while I was playing Stellaris, does that count?

  • Oh don't worry, I'm sure it'll be back behind a paywall soon enough.

  • Yeah I had an issue with this trying to print some ornaments in vase mode. I adjusted the cura profile as detailed HERE and it seemed to take care of it.

  • Yeah my CR-10v2 is still solid, and that's basically a rebranded CR-10s. I've put in an original V6, added a bltouch and a pi for octoprint and that's treated me pretty well so far.

  • If you're running home assistant as well you can use that to create a remote card pretty easily, that's what I'm doing with my Nvidia shield.
