  • The ruling quoted by the oedon I replied to applies to things done by a former president..I'd like to see the courts role that the law applies to a current president, or someone who was president at a time. It seems like common sense but the law doesn't operate on common sense

  • So let's not pretend the pro-gun community are reasonable people making reasonable concessions.

I wasn't doing that. The guy I replied to wanted one specific thing to be illegal, I explained to him that it's already illegal. Whatever else you're reading into my post isn't there

  • and you can just hold the trigger, it should be illegal

Good news, full auto and burst fire have been illegal for decades.

Bump stocks, which would bounce the trigger back against your finger causing it to fire effectively like a full auto despite being semi, were banned by trump of all people.

  • Postfix with MTA that filters maybe.

This provides very little of exchange's functionality. The closest thing I've seen in the open source universe is zarafa, which crowbars activesync emulation into an imap/caldav/carddav infrastructure, badly I might add, and with 3-4x the complexity, maintenance cost, and attack surface. I wouldn't even recommend it for a small business let alone a government agency with all the compliance regulations they have to deal with.

This is one case where Microsoft owns the market because they legitimately have the best tool for the job.

  • I don't recommend thinkpads. As I mentioned elsewhere in this thread, they don't allow you to replace your own wifi card. Latitudes have great Linux support, and as a business class machine they're as reliable and easy to work on as thinkpads

  • It's not just Africans. It doesn't make sense that Indian/Hispanic/Russian/American accents exist either. Earth ceased to exist hundreds of years ago, and there are no homogenous cultures anymore (except the va'ruun, their accent makes sense). In Bethesdas effort to be inclusive they treated accents like they're a racial attribute rather than cultural. In reality there would be a UC accent, a freestar accent, etc but the accents depicted in game would be long extinct.
