Its not woke. If its been around for awhile, its not woke. Woke words are new made up words or words used in a context to prove a progressive point.

"Trigger" is a woke word when you say "Im so triggered by that". However in this context "Johnny, do not pull down that lever, it will trigger the breaker box" is not woke.

Yeah I saw GnuCash and MoneyManagerEx and I am sure their desktop clients are good. However their mobile clients are lacking in features and has not been updated in awhile.

I hope more FOSS devs use flutter and tauri for apps since they can be compiled for desktop and mobile (tauri is working on mobile compiling right now).

Looks promising. I been finding lots of money and asset management apps lately that are FOSS but they are all server side. I would like to find something like this that is completely client side only and you save your data to a encrypted file which one can easily sync to other devices with Syncthing and easily backup.

Client side will always be more secure than storing your data on a centralized server, even if you self host your own server. Or even if Ghostfolio created a flutter or tauri app and let users have the option to store their data locally in a encrypted file or on a server of their choice. That will be the killer app/service.

And personally most distros will do since linux is secure over all. I like Linux Mint personally and is good for programming and generic use.

I prefer LBRY/odysee and nostr looks promising in the future as well. Peertube is good but not as censorship resistant as LBRY or nostr.
