  • Now Brave needs to do the same and also create its own extension store

  • Wont Feddec support mobile extensions in the future?

  • Goldbacks. Not popular by many means

  • That is why it is important to promote the use of crypto and use crypto as much as possible. There are many online stores and services that take crypto.

If you wish to only use Monero but a store only takes bitcoin, use a swap service when paying.

  • Thank you for sharing sources and that funny meme.

  • Personally antivirus is more of a scam these days. If your using Linux, Android, MacOS or iOS your fine. Maybe you can benefit a little bit with one on Windows.

Just have good security practice. Do not go to sketchy sites, do not download sketchy files and especially do not install and run sketchy things. And do not weaken the built in security of your system like disabling the firewall for example.

In the 1990s, 2000s and early 2010s there was a case for antivirus but computers have come a long way since then.

Besides anti virus programs are mostly closed source and have full access to your device. Allowing them to scan your files and many of these products probabily work with three letter intellegence agencies all across the world to collect data from consumers of these anti virus products.

There has been some rumors that anti virus companies have created malware and released it to the world to drive up sales and demand for their products.

  • Just upgraded my phone and found this setting myself. Thank god you can change it back to the 3 buttons.

  • Start off with Bottles if Wine is too hard. Wine is a cmd line application while Bottles is Wine with a GUI making it easy to manage Wine.

Also, it is wise to try and have a different wine bottle (aka prefix) for each windows application you install and run.

Also Linux Mint is a distro that comes with Cinnamon pre-installed as long you download the Cinnamon option which is a fork of Ubuntu.

  • Not much to gain except more privacy and fully open source. A downside is there are less extensions available since it gets extensions from Open VSX Registry. Also there are extensions out there that are not good for privacy.

I still think VSCodium is worth it however.

  • Public school and its education is not as it is advertised. In the US when the government introuced public education, they presented it in a way to let any American have the oppertunity to become well educated and smart and in many ways this is true. However the politicians did not want to give the masses education were they upcoming generation will not be too smart to understand how the world truly works.

School and society as a whole raises you to be the best consumer possible.

Why don't they teach you to cook, so your likely going to eat out more. Why don''t they teach you finance, so your likely living by paycheck to paycheck. Oviously teachers are not holding this back from students because they wish to keep their students down. Teachers only focus on following the curriculum.

Also look at how many politicians send their kids to private schools.

  • There is a reason they intentionally do not teach basic life skills in school. Just like they do not teach you about money, taxes and finance.

  • I imagine users, comments and perhaps pull requests.

  • True, I was referring to low end phones.

  • Youtube-dl has been getting nothing but chased down the past year or so now.

  • Bummer, looks like a Google account feature and not an AOSP feature. Which means this will not be available for Degoogled devices.

  • There is quite a bit of truth to this.

  • Does this mean we will see 512GB internal phone storage becoming mainstream for low end phones?

  • FlorisBoard is feature rich.
