That is what lies at the heart of a well functioning democracy. Very few people agree with Quran burning, but we truly and honestly believe that the right to free expression is more important than almost anything else.

Which is why no matter what flags, books, dolls, pictures etc. are desecrated in Iraq, Pakistan or Saudi Arabia, you won't see heavy handed condemnation, expulsion of diplomats etc.

This headline is a bit misleading, there are definitely good reasons to oppose using surrogates, among them the exploitation of women in poor countries.

I think this analogy is quite good :) something I've always been wondering though: In practice, how do scientists create entangled particles and separate them?

How does this not lead to sanctions and international isolation? It's incredible that so many countries actively support Israel, or just look away from this.

Not a biologist, but I would think that evolution could take something from cold to warm blooded (or opposite) without way too much time. I think I read somewhere that scientists are debating/speculating whether some dinosaurs were warm blooded as well.
