I tried to buy physical PC games as recently as 2014, and what i got was a steam code and and 8 DVD's, and the game still needed a patch to work. So Physical on PC games to me is DRM free. I can put it on my own thumbdrive/USB to make it physical if I wanted it to be.
As for my preference. It depends on the game and deal. If I know I want the game, and I'll buy it no matter what, then I'll aim for the DRM Free copy.
Otherwise it depends on the sale. I mean for $3 I don't mind loosing access to SimCity 3000, $3 is a good price even for limited access. Let alone free.
What I refuse to buy is a offline game like GTA 5 that requires a proprietary launcher and account to even play. Here I will just abandon PC gaming entirely and go to consoles. Rock Star, Ubisoft, EA games in particular I primarily buy on consoles.
Mac OS uses Unix, Linux is Unix Like. At the core their structure's are the same
however despite being the same they have different software packages.
The question you need to ask yourself is: does MacOS have the software I need to do what I want?
For me I need Xcode for iOS development, so that is a yes. But for you, perhaps you may prefer the Python packages on Linux. Or the ease which new software can be installed.
However regardless on what is better or not, know that you can always re-install MacOS afterwords. Macs have a recovery mode that let's you wipe the ssd and reinstall. I used it when I upgraded my 2015 Mac from 128GB to 1TB.
Ah I was confusing the front and rear doors. From this video it looks like it's in the door arm rests, while the rear door is burred in the rear door pocket under a flap. Both appear to operate the latch manually so no electricity required.
This is a Tesla right? Those door handles are electric, so you need to hope the cars electrics hold and not short. Or you can find the emergency release in the door pocket.
I’ve never been one for reading. Even for books with movies I love, I always found reading books myself a chore.
But when I saw the Ascendance of a Bookworm anime, I wanted to know what was going to happen after the season ended. This lead me to the Manga, which was behind at the time, then the light novel.
The word is rich and it has a depth that isn’t daunting. The character you meet feel like they have their own lives, and the sheer number of side stories which isn’t about our main character is wonderful.
This was the series the made me get an eReader just for the books and the many spin offs. And I now preorder it to get the prerelease chapters to get my bookworm fix every mynesday.
The translation work is amazing the story is my cup of tea, and I will recommend it to those who want something new.
I don’t root my phones all the time. For the most part I leave it unrooted so I can use streaming apps and such.
However when I’m upgrading my from one version of Android to another, I root my device to backup my apps, so I don’t need to set everything up again. Browser book marks, playlists etc.
Sucks that most apps won’t allow you to export this to a file, but at least there is some ways to backup my apps.
I 100% agree, however I went Prusa for their replacement parts and long term support of said parts. Rather than their quality which outside of the bed levels on uneven surfaces has been good.
There’s nothing rugged enough out there. Over a long enough time it will die. My two cents would be to minimize physical connectors or makes covers to protect them.
My shop (not wood) uses an old, obsolete and honestly useless Microsoft Surface tablet, since
A it has no fan just a hinge
B 2 charging ports with usb c and the magnetic charger
C Bluetooth which u can get a cheap membrane something that will work, and a Bluetooth mouse.
D has a touch screen as a fallback.
Linux is pretty good on it with a gnome based distro and it has enough Horsepower to run FreeCAD.
That said even if u don’t like Microsoft I believe Walmart or something similar offers 2 in 1 windows laptops that have the same or worse specs. That’ll do.
Print sheet works, cosmetically it doesn't. I sell my prints, and having odd lines is not something I want to sell. I'm just disappointed since there was nothing I can do except watch and kill it as fast as I can.
