The WHY they are doing it, IMHO, is no different from back when Bill Clinton was president. It started as an investigation into claims about a real-estate deal Whitewater, that would slowly morph over time, new accusations here and there, leading to subpoenas of the Clintons. Eventually leading to the Impeachment of Bill Clinton over his lies about his relationship with Monica Lewinski.

The Hunter Biden laptop story are similar to the Whitewater controversy in that while much of it has been proven false, it is still being used to prompt investigations and issue subpoenas.

This Gal Luft guy is a similar story in that he made accusations that have led to investigations. Even right now you can find multiple articles and opinion pieces stating that Luft is on the run from Biden family persecution.

Just as an aside, if Hunter Biden did some crimes, he should be held accountable, but so much of this has been a fishing expedition.

This singular example contributed to me posting this. Honestly I was enraged when I first saw it. I just don't think he would do that, but more importantly, you cannot ask him.

For years I argued with people that with some small changes to our infrastructure and some regulation, this would be something we could accomplish in just a few short years. I still feel that way somewhat, but every time a bridge collapses, or I hit the same pothole I've hit for months it erodes.

I fantasize about the day that I could get into a self driving car and just shout a destination at it, then go there. My commute is over an hour a day and I could use that time for myself. I don't think that day will be here soon.

These companies need to demonstrate that their vehicles are capable (more capable than MOST drivers), and they need to do it transparently. Whats more important to me, would be the manufacturer taking the liability, licensing, and most importantly take responsibility for their mistakes (again openly).

This is a perfect example of accusing the other side of what you are doing:

It seems to me multiple groups in the Republican party, and the de facto leader of the party are the ones promoting him.
