  • I once installed MX Linux KDE spin after using manjaro around 2021.

Found out that almost all applications lacked features, specially Okular ( Pdf reader ). It also felt less visually pleasing out of the box.

Hence is switched back to Arch based distros.

  • The law does not care but the enforcers are much more likely to first pick up cases where companies are making loads of money rather than someone who is not.

    That's what was my point.

  • Reddit is going to the gutters. RIP

  • People in USA take pride in using cashless modes.

I don't understand the flex. You are literally paying commission to a private company for every transaction as well as a permanent record of the purchase in company database linked with so many personally identifiable details.

  • If there is commercial gain involved, laws become more applicable.

  • Isn't usenet paid?

I tried once exploring it but found out have to pay my ISP or something, so went back to torrenting.

  • I don't understand, if so many people care about privacy how come no one in the phone/car etc market are able to make good product which cater to these needs?

  • Can someone explain this to me pls?

  • Lol, so true

  • Where ? Location ?

    Excat opposite of this,

(January 2000) Abortion is a divisive and emotional issue. Add racial overtones and the implication that public officials do not deserve all the credit for reductions in crime during the 1990s, and combustion is inevitable. Informed debate is not. Stanford Law School professor John J. Donohue III and University of Chicago economist Steven D. Levitt ignited a debate last August when they released a study on the relationship between abortion and crime. Their findings suggest that legal abortions have prevented the births of many would-be criminals. The absence of these people, according to their research, is behind at least half of the dramatic drop in crime rates seen between 1991 and 1997.
