  • Prophetic words with that early second half try

  • Only watched the first game against France before this semi. This match is way more interesting without all the backwards and forwards kicking.

Pumas have looked good on attack. Be interesting to see whether they can keep the pace up as historically they’ve run out of gas in the second half.

  • Yeah, pretty inconclusive for now. They need to look into it, seems like they were taken by surprise as well.

Im inclined to believe them that they didn’t know the sensors were going in. They had zero talking points about privacy concerns and were flustered.

  • We’re already hot-desking. This seems to be much more about surveillance unfortunately.

  • My work placed infrared occupancy sensors under each desk yesterday without telling anyone. They point straight at the crotch.

Have a call with HR this afternoon about it, having raised concerns via email. This could prove to be a very interesting day.

  • Turns out I jinxed it by saying it was close. My bad.

  • First half down and jeez it’s close. That early try was a good way to get the blood pumping this morning.

  • Only if the aussies are willing to rename their landmass to the West Island and admit that NZ created the lambington, the pav, and the flat white.

  • Ahh that’s a much better solution than putting it on the router. Thank you.

  • Yeah, sorry, I probably included too much irrelevant information.

I’d like the pihole to be available outside of my LAN. I believe I can do so by setting up an OpenVPN configuration on my router.

However, I have a server on the LAN that needs to have it’s traffic masked from my ISP as it handles my torrent and Usenet traffic. My primary question is whether having a VPN set up on my router will interfere with the commercial VPN on the server.

  • Whenever someone suggests building more roading capacity to solve congestion I just link them to “The Fundamental Law of Road Congestion” https://www.aeaweb.org/articles?id=10.1257/aer.101.6.2616

This is just basic economics. Increasing supply reduces the cost and therefore demand rises to meet the new level of supply. Why the right wing preaches economic purism on everything but transport boggles my mind.

  • I’ll add another +1 for steelseries.

I use the arctis 1 wireless for work and arctis 7 for gaming and to watch tv when my wife is asleep. The arctis 1 is a bit bass heavy but has good sound isolation. Arctis 7 has a reasonably good flat eq for a gaming headset and I’ve been really happy with the sound quality even compared with my sennheisers.

  • The Mars Volta at St James in 2007 is still the best gig I’ve ever been to 🤘🏻

Would love to see gigs back there again.
