No one here gave a fuck when Russia did it to Ukraine.

Can't take anyone here seriously with the "but what about the children".

The same guys were cheering Russia on when they bombed the shit out of Ukrainian towns.

This is whataboutism but the same crowd has the opposite opinion when it come to Russia and Ukraine. And Ukraine didn't even shoot missiles at Russia first.

So it just appears to be alignment with certain groups and countries rather than honest worry about anyone's wellbeing.

It could be a conjugated form of the verb "knuspern", which means eating something crispy.

Knusper itself is also used in an entirely different context to express that someone is weird or has mental problems. Then you could say someone is not knusper or "nicht ganz knusper".
