Sounds like the new owner didn’t do due diligence when inspecting what they were purchasing. Which means the new guy is an idiot and you probably shouldn’t trust your data with them.

Nah, e is the same across most spanish accents. It’s more likely we’re just using different letters for the same sounds as i said in my other comment.

Not to my american raised ears. I live in colombia and have for nearly a decade. To my ears the spanish “e” sound is most similar to the english sound “ay” as in hay or may but shorter. I’ve never heard someone make the phoneme “eh” here in colombia.

It's not always the case that you have the same accent in a different language. That guy is extreme to the point of caricature. I've been told I sound argentinian when I speak spanish yet I'm a new englander who learned spanish in colombia.

Doesn't the bible say to obey the emperor and follow the law? So reporting abuse to the authorities shouldn't be a sin since there's a law compelling priests to violate the confessional for specific issues.

They teach you french during basic training so that wouldn’t be an issue. You can see this at the FFL faq page where the first q and a is about french fluency.

Are you sure those guys in the documentary were already past selection? You have to be selected (10/100) and then you also have to pass basic training which is difficult.

I’m a veteran who looked into joining the FFL. They’re basically all special forces (even the admin) so if you aren’t ready for that level of training you’re going to fail recruitment and won’t be able to join them.

Also of 100 recruits that apply only 10-15 are selected.

Just so everyone is aware, the French Foreign Legion is an elite group of soldiers. If you aren’t extremely physically fit or ready for 5 years of military suck then this isn’t the option for you.

I like the spanish demonym for those of us from the United States: estadounidense. If you were to translate it literally it'd be like unitedstatesian, like brazilian (braziliense)
