Depends what happens to european aid.. and even though the EU, together, has given more than the US, that doesn't mean the US is not a significant contributor. I really hope they get their shit together because Ukraine needs all the help they can get.

Edit: Norway has given 1.6% of gheir GDP in aid, US, 0.3%. So, Norway has given 6-7 times more per capita (as they have a larger gdp per capita). The US is actually way down the list in aid per capita.

I'm guessing people would still want power over others. If there is no scarcity in resources, then we will find something else to fight over.

To be fair, in perfect competition prices for a homogenous product would be the same everywhere.

But the reason for it in reality is that tacit collusion is not illegal (and even if they break the rules and make deals, which happens, it is hard to prove. but you don't need explicit deals for prices to end up being the same). there has been many studies done on the gas market in partucular.
