That was a really excellent write up, thank you for elaborating. It's helpful to know the truth of how these companies are acting, and important for consumers to try not to forget. They will continue to take advantage, if we allow it.
It's so that they can advertise to you more. Giving them whatever information is 'required' to sign up for whatever 'rewards' they're offering is more beneficial to them than it is to you, guaranteed. I just don't buy in, if that means that I'm somehow paying more than so be it.
I think people have forgotten how to have principles these days, or just don't care.
Is there any way that you could write to this guy that was hard of hearing? Maybe he would be willing to share some information with you, if you told him some of the things you've told us here?
