  • You are probably incredibly young but Israel has had a firm control of American politics for literally its entire existence. Both parties, all presidents, pretty much all senators and members of congress on every level of your government. Lying to your faces that they could change that at a whim because Israel is committing another atrocity this decade on top of the ones they did in the decades before would have been a reason not to vote for them because that would have clearly made them untrustworthy.

Not to mention that every single dictator the US installed in the last century or so was pro genocide too.

  • Yeah, this is a "feature" for the companies with the "enterprise" warning label who would rather waste a lot of effort on ineffective compliance checklists than actually make sure their software is up-to-date with security fixes.

  • Banning stuff people actually want to do (or even better, have a deep instinctual desire to do like physical intimacy or sex) is what makes the whole "you are all sinners and we have the solution to sell to you" (or alternatively "you are all sinners and you have to do what we say to solve that") part of the religion scam work.

  • But you (the people who pointed at the Gaza genocide as an important issue in the US election) didn't ask that before the election, you strongly suggested that it only had an influence on one party despite all evidence pointing towards either both parties being influenced equally or the party who won (among other reasons) because of you being worse.

  • The ChatGPT part makes perfect sense, there is probably very little discussion in its training data of events like this so why would a statistical language generator make a statement like "content has been scrubbed from nasa.gov"?

  • Negotiation is essentially an exercise in empathy, trying to put yourself in the other side's shoes, moderating a negotiation is essentially the same thing twice. Is it any wonder that an egocentric person who only cares about himself is not good at it?
