  • Well it says in the article. Large number of bullet votes that didn't happen in the past and only happened in the swing states.

With electronic voting machines how there could be witness if fraud happens inside, you need to recount to verify this. That's the only way.

  • I think that's enough evidence to warrant such recount.

There's a irregularity that, did not happen in prior elections and only in swing states, not even neighboring ones. It could be nothing or could be valid.

You are saying that there's no evidence, but with electronic voting machines the only time you get evidence is if you verify it.

The most mind-blowing thing to me is that the less people are familiar with software engineering the more trusting they are of electronic voting machines and when there are irregularities just dismissing it.

Tell me, what evidence you would need to say "ok, I think we should recount these machine counted votes".

  • My thoughts too. I prefer non functional over fascist functional.

Though it looks like people around him this time are expecting to be able to manipulate him and to have a real power.

Another concern is that he likely replace Thomas and Alito with younger ones, basically cementing this corrupted makeup.

  • So there are two kinds of microwaves:

    • those that use sensor for popcorn (typically it is on top, there are some that use audio)
    • those that have no sensor and just use a timer (those ask you how big is the popcorn bag)

You should use the popcorn button on the first ones, with the second type it is better to follow the instructions on the popcorn bag.

  • Check out "On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons From the 20th Century" by Prof. Timothy Snyder, he lists there what are the things that allows it to happen.

It's a short book and anyone should read it for current times. He also reads it on his YouTube channel.

  • Antibiotics are very cheap, even without insurance. US doctors (unlike what I experienced in Europe) don't prescribe antibiotics left and right and only when they diagnose bacterial infection.

In Europe many doctors frequently prescribe antibiotics when coming to the doctor with cold symptoms.

  • This was debate during trump's first term. While originally I was for preserving Section 230, after thinking about it, I'm starting to have doubts if it serves is well though.

It originally was created when there were forums, Usenet etc run by hobbyists. And it was a non brainier. It was needed, but after 30 years corporations came and basically built their media empires (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok etc) on a law that removes any accountability from them unlike traditional media. They don't produce content but they control algorithms that decide content that you see.

The section 230 at this point is obsolete and perhaps needs to go and maybe be replaced with a better law.

Sadly I don't expect a good alternative coming from the upcoming administration.

  • Why are we accepting reporting on tweets as a journalism?

Yeah MAGA reacted to the 60 minutes, but so what? One can find similar reactions on any topic, there's nothing new that we learn by reading this. It just manufacturers outrage on the other side.
