It's a Ryzen 7 Pangolin, I bought it almost 2 years ago.

I have one, they are good but you can generally get better quality for less with Dell or Lenovo. Where System 76 shines is its customer support: they are responsive, helpful and knowledgeable. This, plus the fact that popOS is a damn fine Linux distro expressly tuned to their machines, largely makes up for the fact that it might be a bit more expensive than the alternatives. Regarding gaming, I can't really say... I've played a few steam games on it but they're not the type that require much firepower. Still, no problem there.

I tend to agree with you, but I also think it's important to know how the "enemy" thinks and interpret the news. I don't think we should lock ourselves up in echo bubbles only reading stuff we agree with.

I don't agree. I have A LOT of questions about gender identity to which I can't hypothesize answers because as a cis/het person I have no idea what it means and what it feels like being transgender, and I grew up in a time and a place where nobody ever talked about gender identity. The only way I can educate myself is by asking questions. Now I know a lot of people in the LGBTQ community are kinda fed up answering this kind of questions, and with good reason (cf. the "just asking questions" posture of anti-trans people). But some of us are being honest at just asking questions.

Like someone else said in another comment, I'm sure everybody on the left agree with the concept of free speech. So IMHO the real question is, why is it the case that platforms advocating free speech attract right wingers and extremists?

If you think a simple attempt at discussion is pedantic and/or a trap, maybe a discussion forum such as this one is not a place where you will find many friends. I was sincerely trying to understand your point of view but it seems you won't even try to justify it.

And python was created to teach programming. And PHP was something a guy used to maintain his webpage. If a language is useful it will gain popularity, and I never used a language which I didn't find frustrating at some point.

Yeah I see a lot of "cruelty is the point" comments here, which might not be entirely false, but if they sue it mostly means someone is pissed off about losing revenue.
