  • Seeing gold sheet on food is an immediate red flag for me. Pretentious and useless, it's a strong sign a restaurant is trying to sell mediocre food at an inflated price. Other red flags are truffle and foie gras, although those can legitimately taste delicious, if you see the triple combo gold, truffle, foie gras there is a 95% chance it's horseshit.

  • Hello Sharon, I've been expecting you. Or is it in fact... MARK !!!

  • Have you tried running in a Wayland session if you have the same issue ? I am not so sure, but I think GPU acceleration is only really working with Firefox in Wayland. Also, check which version of the Nvidia driver you have, maybe there is something newer you can use from the backports repository.

  • I once made an animated presentation using Inkscape and an add-on I can't remember the name of. It was epic and blown everyone's mind. But it was not worth the effort and I have never attempted this again.

  • You probably haven't activate Bitlocker. Up until now it was optional with Windows. I would argue it isn't necessary for a desktop computer at home, but you should seriously consider activating disk encryption for a laptop.

  • Bitlocker encrypts your drive, not single files. Once the computer is booted up, it's completely transparent to the user.

  • Sorry if this came out badly. I work with people from all around the world, it can be hard to process names from other cultures/languages, that all I wanted to say.

  • If only more people would think for 15.50s before speaking...

  • British when straight into inventing the radar and completely skipped over the invention of warm water.

  • This technology is only possible with degree Celsius. It is impossible to adapt to degree Fahrenheit.

  • Don't let that stop you getting the ultimate shower experience! My parents also have water with very high calcium at their house and I don't think they had any problems with the faucet in the past 15 years.

I live in a rented place, they were doing repairs to the heating systems, several times we had brown water coming out the tap. I bet they installed the cheapest option, plus the debris in the water, this fucked it.

Just invest in a good thermostatic faucet and never look back !

  • Definitely not :) I had to get it replaced at my flat this year. There is a filter inside that can get block if you have hard water or debris.

  • Growing up in rural France, we had these at home for as far as I can remember. They may not have been the norm 30 years ago, but at least common.

  • Thermostatic faucet

  • These things existe for at least 30 years, I don't understand why anyone would want to use anything else for a shower or bathtub.

  • Observe while I shower comfortably with:

  • In the summer sometimes, we would camp in the garden, take the TV and the PlayStation to the tent, pull a long extension cords from the garage, play all night. Good times, good times.

  • my laptop is Windows. No, don't throw rocks at me, I use WSL too.

    Rock throwing intensifies 😾

  • Amazing ! Thanks for taking the time and effort to do this. You're the GOAT !!!
