I feel that Stephen Harper's religion should be discussed here, since he's still pulling a lot of strings in the CPC. Harper is, for those who don't know, an evangelical young-earth creationist.
Aside from the macguffin that left Matt Damon stranded, the science was solid. Furthermore, the casual dysfunctionality and administrative infighting of the governments and agencies was brilliantly on point.
If we're talking about a bar/restaurant, then the amount of alcohol in a drink is regulated and consistent.
That said, if the total volume of ice and water is consistent, then 10ml of the liquid portion of a drink on the rocks will have more alcohol than 10ml of the liquid/ice mixture in a blended margarita, at least until the ice cubes melt.
Far more importantly, a margarita on the rocks is a superior drink. :-)
He's a 'close personal friend' of Trump. He showed up at the inauguration, and has repeatedly stated his support for Trump, wearing MAGA hats.
When asked to be the Canadian team's honourary captain at the 4 nations cup, he came onto the ice from the US bench, threw a bunch of thumbs up to team USA, and then did a simple skate past our bench. He wore a suit and tie, with no hint of red and white.
He hasn't picked up his order of Canada award yet.
Basically, he is avoiding every opportunity to show he has some love left for Canada, and to denounce extremism.
Problematic? Absolutely. He's a solid Progressive Conservative, in the mold of Joe Clark and Robert Stanfield. He's a banker, and sees continual financial growth as essential to society.
But he also knows that the way forward for our nation is to diversify our trading partners, so we can cut off the ones that don't help us.
I read this as "Sea Bass game" at first.
Honestly, I don't know.
