  • As someone who is diabetic, and took Ozempic, yea I lost weight. However I was visit-the-hospital sick for 5 weeks. Yes my A1C went down, but at the cost of not being able to eat, drink, or sleep for weeks on end. I will never ever take that medicine again.

  • I once had a roommate who was the messiest person alive. I was tired of cleaning up all his crap so I just piled it all in front of his door. When I came home, he had just parted it like the Red Sea and it sat there for weeks.

  • Yeah, I used to love thrifting. Could find really awesome stuff for a couple bucks. Now it’s too trendy. They’ve figured out that people were buying it from them dirt cheap and then reselling it in their own “vintage” shop for like 20x the price. Society has even ruined thrifting.

  • I can only speak to my experience, but I got lucky that “CSM” really started evolving as a role around me and I was basically already doing it, so it was an easy transition. That said, you’d need to go back to a customer facing role. I know there are Associate CSM roles now which I think is basically an entry-level csm role. It might be easier for you to start talking to people within the company you are currently at. If they know your experience and skills, it would be easier to go for a role change from training to csm. Once you have that first CSM role under your belt and on your resume, you’re in. Then just work your ways up the levels of csm.

  • Seconded on this. Customer Service sucks when you start out because you have to deal with a lot of crap from people. However, if it’s something you’re good at, you can build a pretty decent career moving into Account Management or Customer Success Manager. I started out in a call center back in 2014, now I have a 6 figure salary as a CSM, and it’s easier than any job I’ve ever had.

  • I got into to Brandi Carlile because I kept hearing her songs and not knowing it was her. Each time I thought “damn, this is really good”, looking up the song and each time it was Brandi Carlile. That happened 3 times and I finally decided it was time to start listening to albums.

  • Not me personally, but my grandpa was transferred out of Pearl Harbor a week before the attack. I often think about how some random person’s decision that many years ago created my entire family line.
