  • If the agreement was reached 2 years ago, does he legally have the ability to just decide not to do it?(I know it wouldn't stop him.)

  • Septerra Core and Divine Divinity were both really good.

  • I can understand this perspective. Kids get molested by a parent's new romantic partner way too frequently, and even intelligent adults can be blind to the failings of someone they're dating.

  • You sound like you know a lot about it. Have you done Monero mining? I looked into it and figured I'd be losing a little bit due to electricity costs, but it might be worth it anyway. No worse than the exchange rate between two currencies.

  • I mentioned the brand as an example of the feature's popularity. People stopped buying them because they stopped being made, not the other way around. Like other physical controls on cellphones disappearing, I suspect it's a reflection of the cost to produce rather than any technical benefit or a statement of what people want. That's why so many people still use their decades-old phones today.

  • I can understand that. I think it's best when the other flavors are also strong, but it a way that balances it out.

  • You all seem so shocked. Are you all unaware that a common use of AI is the creation of sexual depictions of children? I'm not advocating it, I'm just stating it as a reality, because it is.

  • How does that work? Does it move all the keys around for you or is it, like, double-sided? Or it just changes the layout used by the system while you're in a game? That sounds useful as long as you aren't typing in chat.

  • I didn't even think about that, but it's a good point.

  • How does he still have hair? I thought they shaved prisoners in El Salvador.

  • It's feels off to me when not voting for someone who doesn't share your politics is described as "protest" or "punishment". Wouldn't you expect a person not to vote for a candidate who doesn't share their politics or represent their interests?

  • It doesn't really resonate with me. It makes me invision the colonial era. I think "No Dictators" or "No Despots" would be better.

  • I've noticed this, too. Grown adults in their 30s and 40s just repeat things they've seen on the internet, word for word, as though they're providing a meaningful contribution to a conversation. It's so bizarre.

  • Light bulbs originally lasted basically forever, is my understanding. The wires were thick enough to not break with use, and also made of a more durable metal. Then they were made thinner and the metal used changed, so they'd wear out eventually and users would have to buy more.

  • Crazy that they're communicating something this important via email. Not that it's the only crazy thing about this scenario.
